Client
UninTech (Shanghai Maoyu Medical Device Co., Ltd.), a group founded in 2005 that develops, manufactures and markets spinal endoscopy products — instruments, electronic equipment and consumables — for minimally invasive spine surgery.
Challenge
The company needed one site that could carry four product lines, a busy academic and training programme, and a steady stream of company news without turning into a catalogue. It had to read as a credible clinical brand for surgeons and distributors, while keeping the architecture shallow enough that any section is one click from the home page.
My role
- Visual direction and page system
- Information architecture for products, academic activities and news
- Hero art direction with 3D anatomy imagery
- Carousel and news-list design
- Responsive layout for desktop and mobile
Solution
The visual system is anchored in a deep clinical blue. The hero is built around a 3D spine model rendered behind the UninTech wordmark, with a single call to action. A white academic-activities band follows, using a full-width photo carousel to put congresses and training sessions in front of visitors immediately.
Products get their own dark band: a macro render of an endoscopic instrument sits above four categories — spinal endoscopy, surgical instruments, electronic equipment and consumables — so the whole range reads at a glance. News is handled as an editorial list of thumbnail-plus-headline rows, which keeps a long feed of events, visits and industry rankings scannable.
The page closes with a company section over a blue-toned photograph of the headquarters building, and a footer that carries company, product and legal links alongside direct contact details and QR codes for the WeChat account and a second brand channel.
The interface is Chinese-language, with a language switch for international visitors.
